0700: The distribution block leaked under extreme pressure, the leak came from one edge of the join between the 1x4 brick and 1x4 plate... using a sharp blade I scored the join and ran a line of contact adhesive (CA) along the join.

0800: The CA worked a treat... now under extreme pressure the tube from the air pump pops off its connection on the distribution block.

2300: had a very good day...
...air piston head joints rebuilt...
...head frame made...
...lips lights installed...
...eyelids installed and geared to take a motor drive...
...eyelids can be made to rotate and flap...
...distribution block works fine...
...the prism piece (from part no. 2500) didn't get used...

Some thoughts on the body...
... regular Lego is going to be very heavy for the size of J5...
...Lego Znap fits perfectly with Technic Lego, has many large, intricate pieces and I've aquired a fair bit in my Lego auction wins on Ebay...

Still waiting on the Air Lorry, and a JCB... more pneumatics to experiment with :)

2330: Kids have been soundo for a few hours, wifey's gone to bed...
...time to figure out eye movement and the motors for the eyelids...
......to be continued.
